The Young Men's Christian Association of Greensboro was suspended by the State of North Carolina in July of 2011 and reinstated the following month. It seems the NC Department of Revenue has issues but apparently they were quickly resolved. Sometimes people forget to fill out forms until a letter comes in the mail informing them of their mistakes and possible consequences. Too bad that Trebic never resolved their issues from 6 years ago.
Had Trebic resolved their issues they'd still be in business today. What's that? Trebic is still in business? How can that be possible?
Does the YMCA of Greensboro have a board of directors? I was unable to find one on their website but I did find a corporate staff who's CEO/President is Greg Jones. As far as I know we're not related but go back a few hundred years and who knows what you'll find.
According to records at the NC Secretary of State, the Young Men's Christian Association of Greensboro, Incorporated has never hired any lobbiests but who would have ever thought the Piedmont Triad Partnership would be hiring lobbiests either? Certainly not me. And who would have ever thought the Moses Cone Health Foundation would be using our money to fund political campaigns in states other than NC? I mean, really, who would have even thought it possible? And I never expected to catch Downtown Greensboro Incorporated in the act. Isn't Ed Woverton supposed to be a pretty smart guy?
So while the Young Men's Christian Association of Greensboro Incorporated gets a clean bill of health the investigation into the truth, lies and deceit of the Greensboro Partnership continues turning over one stone at a time.
