The Greensboro Housing Coalition isn't a part of this investigation because I suspect them of any wrongdoings but simply because I want to leave no stone unturned. Their board of directors are easy to find and their works in the public interest.
That said, why did the Greensboro Housing Coalition donate $4,500 to political candidate, Teresa Sue Bratton in 2008? I have no idea as to the legalities of non profits making donations to political candidates but when the non profit receives government funding the donation gives the appearance of funneling tax dollars into political campaigns.
