The Mental Health Association In Greensboro makes it easy to find their board. As to why other non profits keep these things secret is beyond me.
Established in 1940, MHAG "is an affiliate of Mental Health America and a community partner of United Way of Greater Greensboro. The Association conducts programs that promote better mental health, provides support to those who suffer from mental illness and strives to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness, through education and service."
Correct me if I'm wrong but I've found no evidence of any wrongdoings on their part. I'm happy that most of the groups I've researched to date seem to be completely above board but troubled that the same few names continue to come up again and again. I know it is often said that finding board members can be difficult but I expect the nets of those searching simply aren't be cast very widely.
